This privacy policy informs you in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR (EU) 2016/679 as of April 27, 2016 and § 13 BDSG about the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website. Status: July 2025

2. Scope & Hosting

When visiting our website, our hosting provider Netlify automatically collects so-called server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, page accessed). We process this data exclusively for technical purposes (provision and operation of the website), for security and error analysis and delete it after a maximum of 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Netlify may host data on servers in third countries (e.g. USA) and protects the data through EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) – version C(2021) 3200 final.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We only process personal data if a legal basis permits or requires this. The basis is Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR:

• lit. a Consent: e.g. for newsletter subscriptions, cookie banner.
• lit. b Contract fulfillment: e.g. processing orders via affiliate links.
• lit. f Legitimate interest: Operation, security, maintenance and optimization of this website.

4. Newsletter and Double Opt-In

Registration for our newsletter takes place via an external form from our newsletter service provider MailerLite on a MailerLite landing page. MailerLite's privacy policy applies there. Registration takes place via double opt-in procedure: After entering your email address, you will receive a confirmation email with a link that is valid for 24 hours. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by email to info@papixel.de.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and enable certain functions and analyses.

5.2 Technically Necessary Cookies

We currently only use technically necessary cookies that are essential for the operation of the website. These cannot be deselected. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
